When confronted with the challenge of reviewing and organizing part of my artistic production on a website, art historian Carla Miranda and I came up with the idea of structuring the page around three key concepts proposed by Henri Lefebvre in his text The Production of Space (1974).
Lefebvre introduces a complex, plural, and evolving concept of social space. For the French author, social space is constituted by three aspects that function and intervene in it simultaneously: lived space, conceived space, and perceived space. Thus, we have divided my artistic practice according to the space from which the act of creation was constituted.
